The Hypocrisy of the Religious Right and Sexual Morality.

There is an old saying, “It is not the crime but the coverup that will get you”. The same thing is with sin. It is not the sin but the hypocrisy.

I can not judge another person’s sexual sins. Not with my struggles. But when you start judging others on their sins. When you talk about Christian morality while supporting Trump. When you attack a man in a committed marriage who just happens to be gay as a sexual degenerate you lose all rights to judge. I am not judging your sins, I am judging your hypocrisy.

If we make it another 50, hundred years future historians will be able to pinpoint the moment American white evangelical Christianity sold out. When they finally cemented their turning their backs on Jesus I think that they will point to October 7th 2016. When this was released. https://youtu.be/fYqKx1GuZGg

Now Trump was no choir boy before this came out. He was accused of sexual misconduct by a dozen women. Some that he said he never knew, some that he had pictures with. This is a thrice married man who cheated on two of his wives. But this Access Hollywood tape, that was something else. He bragged about trying to commit adultery on his third wife. “I went on her like a bitch.” “Grab em by the pussy”. That tape should have been enough for Franklin Graham, Robert Jeffess, Lindsay Graham et all to just say “its not worth it. I am not voting for Hillary but I am not voting for this man.

For more than twenty years these were the people that said sexual morality matters. “If a man can’t be faithful to his wife, you can’t expect him to be faithful to the nation.” Those who attacked Bill Clinton for his sexual sins and borderline crimes were calling the tape “disturbing but just locker talk”

He was not making lewd sexual comments. He was going on about how he tried to commit adultery. He did make a public apology. After midnight but he didn’t apologize for trying to get it on while he was married with a married woman. He apologized for “using bad language” and then he started attacking Bill Clinton on his sexual sins. That video is the epitome of hypocrisy.

https://youtu.be/ycfARBsz6_Y

Ok I understand they held their nose and voted against Clinton, the lesser of two evils in their opinion. I voted for neither. I voted for McMullin. But at least they could be honest. If they said “Yes, Donald Trump is an adulterer and a philander but he will give us the Supreme Court. So we are ok with being hypocrites as long as what we want done.” But they didn’t do that.

But I think the nail on the coffin for the religious right and their moral crusade against sexual immorality happened when it came out that Trump’s fixer paid a porn star to be quiet about their affair during an election year. If a democrat did that the Republicans would scream for the democrat’s impeachment.

This is one thing that I don’t understand. If the evangelical right would support impeachment, they would get Mike Pence, one of their own as president. Although he is tainted by yoking himself with Trump. His social policies would be the same as Trump’s. But do they do that? NO! They double down on Trump. They say he is chosen by God. They call him a modern day King Cyrus. A gentile leader who will save American Christianity.

One thing that I hate is when the religious right compares Donald Trump to King David. Yes King David committed adultery and murder but he repented. Trump has never repented from anything. The analogy is not apt, it is borderline blasphemous. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Samuel+12&version=NIV King David had faults but he was humble before the Lord.

I have written blogs and made videos about homosexuality. How I believe through context that the Bible was condemning cultic prostitution, forced sodomy (actually forced sodomy is redundant. Because the wicked men who wanted to rape the angels to put them in their place and the wicked men in Judges 19 who wanted to rape the stranger that the Levite gave hospitality to is the sin of sodomy) and the Greek practice of older men having sex with teenagers. The Bible doesn’t condemn nor endorse same sex marriage. I support it because I believe if two people love each other they should be able to spend the rest of their lives together and get the benefits that straight couples do.

I also think that social conservatives should support it because those in committed marriages are less likely to engage in “the gay lifestyle”. It is like the religious right are stuck in the late 70’s and early 80’s and believe that “the gay lifestyle” is the bathhouse culture of indiscriminate sex and drug use. Like Robin Williams said in “Man of the Year”.

Tom Dobbs: [at a presidental debate] You want an amendment against same sex marriage! Anyone who’s ever been married knows it’s always the same sex!

You compare Mayor Pete Buttigieg to Donald Trump. You have a man in a loving marriage, a veteran, a Rhodes scholar and an Episcopalian who loves the Lord and actually follows His teachings versus a thrice divorced draft dodger who bragged about trying to commit adultery and paid off two porn stars and is everything that God warned us against.

And who of the two are the religious right calling a sexual degenerate, a threat to America’s sexual morality? The man who violated his sacred married vows at least 3 times and bragged about “grabbing women by the pussy” or the man in a loving committed marriage. Of course it is Mayor Pete.

I would love to see that presidential race. It would be a match of true opposites. But I do have to say something that may be controversial after thinking about it. I think that there is something about Mayor Pete that I find very disturbing and that may make it very hard for me to support him as president. He is a millennial and younger than me. I don’t know if I am ready to vote for president a man who is younger than me. But for the good of my country I may have to put my vanity aside and vote for a man who was is too young to remember rocking out to Walk Like An Egyptian, to have a crush on Punky Brewster, or to have seen Back to the Future in the theater and understand and enjoy it.And you know what that might not be a bad thing.

And my best friend Dok agrees and wanted me add. He never watched Gobots, the Real Ghostbusters, Garfield and Friends, Rainbow Bright, or Gem and the Holograms, or played Duck Hunt on Nintendo but he would also bite the bullet and vote for someone younger than him.

The Sin of Sloth or I Will Blog About It Later

Four things you have to know about me. #1 I suffer from anxiety and depression almost crippling at times. #2 I am a Christian who believes that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that He is my strength even when I am weak. #3 I am weak a lot. #4 I am also lazy.

I pay one hundred dollars for a WordPress account and noticed that I didn’t post in more than half a year. That is just lazy. Although that is quite simplistic. Sloth is more than laziness.

Sloth is from the Latin word acedia. This is a description of sloth I found on Wikipidea. “Mentally, acedia, has a number of distinctive components of which the most important is affectlessness, a lack of any feeling about self or other, a mind-state that gives rise to boredom, rancor, apathy, and a passive inert or sluggish mentation”. That is a mouthful.

Basically sloth is a mindset that prevents you from doing what God put you on earth to do. Sloth keeps you from doing what you want to do. It is like a spiritual depression that makes you only want to watch reruns of the Goldbergs. You know you should do something else but you don’t really care. You make excuses not to do them.

I am a man of many dreams. I want to create a non profit Generation Now that will help fight stigma against mental illness among youth using social media, benefit shows, and performing arts clubs. I know that I should do things to make this happen. I should actively take part in the Facebook group. I should write to the National NAMI (National alliance for the mentally ill” headquarters, Active Minds, Always Keep Fighting and other groups that fight mental illness stigma to see if I could get help or support.

I want to write to celebrities like Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki or The Good Place’s Kristen Bell to see if I may get their support. But fear of rejection makes me go back to the TV, Facebook, or playing Simpsons Tapped Out. https://youtu.be/AoK7LRt0mgI

I also am a struggling writer. Like an absent minded professor I have about a dozen partly written screenplays, short stories, or novels. I would say half written but that would be too generous. I just can’t get the energy to write. I know that I am talented but the thoughts come to me. “Why bother, I won’t succeed so why put the energy into it.”

I know I am not the only one who has dreams but lets inertia, apathy, and fear get in my way. Imagine what the world would be like if we actually followed our dreams with full gusto and allowed the Holy Spirit to give us wind to our sails.

That goes to my spiritual life. I do believe that God has given me a gift to speak out against corruption, hypocrisy, and against the religious right who have made a mockery of the Church that Christ created. But yet I don’t. I get overwhelmed by the madness that Trump has set loose in our nation. So I don’t blog, I don’t make my video blogs. Or I do and get no traction and I decide to give up.

In this series on the seven deadly sins I will discuss how they affect me and our president. Our president is a man of many sins. We all sin, don’t get me wrong. But when I sin, it affects my relationship with Jesus and maybe one or a few others. When Trump sins it affects millions. But a true follower of a Christ recognizes when they sin, repent, and try to be better. Even if we fall a thousand times, we recognize it, we apologize and we try again. Trump hasn’t repented once. His fruit is as rotten now as it was when he made his announcement that he was going to run for president.

As I said, Trump is a man of many sins. My worst and most active sins, pardon the pun, are lust and sloth. I don’t believe Trump suffers from sloth. If anything he is too active. He does too much. If pride is one extreme I think sloth is the other. It is an inertia filled with self loathing, apathy, and passive fear.

I am sick of letting my sloth keep me down. I am a child of the living God. He has given me talents that I don’t use. And if you don’t use them, you lose them. You get rusty and that is what makes sloth such a tenacious sin.

That is why I need discipline, no blog gets any traction if you only post once every four months. I have to post whether I feel like it or I don’t. If inspiration hits me, I have to get on my iPad and start typing.

This is a Christian blog so I think I will end with some scripture.

Matthew 25 (NIV)

14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’

21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Yes the wicked servant acted as much out of fear than sloth but that is why sloth is such an invasive sin, it prevents you from doing a God’s work and as Jesus is basically saying here “if you don’t use it you lose it”. The Holy Spirit gives us all gifts but we have to use them, we have to follow the path that God gave us to the best of our abilities, and the more you do, the more energy and passion and talent God will give you.

God Bless you guys my next blog will be about Lust and will probably be the most personal and hardest blog I have ever written.

Reverend Graham. Help Christianity and Our Nation and Rebuke Trump.

Dear Rev. Graham

I am writing this letter in hopes that newspapers will publish it and you will read it and it will change your heart and mind. I am also posting this on social media hoping it will reach you and change your heart.

You have designated this Sunday June 2nd as a national day for prayer for our president to help protect him from his enemies. You said the only hope for him and this nation is God. I believe that as well.

But I believe that you have compromised the faith. I believe that by siding with Trump you are doing more harm to the faith than help. Trump is everything that Scripture warns us about . This is from 2 Timothy 3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. NIV

Trump has shown time and again that he is a mocker, a slanderer, a man with no humility and no decency, yet you give him religious cover. Yes Trump is supporting policies that may protect Christianity. But what is the point of protecting the church if we have to corrupt it in order to do it. Yoking ourselves with Trump is like a family hiring a pedophile bouncer to protect their children. Yes he will protect you from enemies without but all the while corrupting your house.

I don’t believe that you are a bad man, I think that fear and hatred has skewed and corrupted your faith. You are so afraid of Christians losing control that you have unwillingly sold your soul for political power. God has given you so many gifts. You could be using them to spread the Gospel. To show an unbelieving country that God is good. That we have a savior who died for us but also lived to show us how to truly be human.

Unfortunately Trump is the the complete opposite of Jesus. He is against all of the virtues that Jesus taught and many people including you are treating him like he is God’s anointed. Jesus said that we can not serve two masters and his whole live has been about serving himself and money.

Elijah did not ask for the Israelites to pray for Queen Jezebel. He spoke out against her corruption. Isaiah did not stand up for the status quo. He spoke up against it and his words in Isaiah 1 could describe America today. And John the Baptist spoke out against the corrupt and sexual degenerate King Herod Antipas. He did not give him religious succor.

So Reverend Graham. Be a man of God. Be like your father. Grid up your loins and unyoke yourself from this man who shows none of the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. NIV

Yes this will be difficult. Yes some people will hate you. Those who drank the Trump flavor-aid will call you names, will attack you. Donations may dry up. But doing this with Jesus and His word backing you up will not only help you, it will help this nation and maybe will even help bring non believers to Christ.

The ball is in your court. You could rise up to this occasion and help lead a third great awakening or you could continue to do what you are doing. Being a false prophet who tarnishes the name of Jesus Christ in the eyes of the non believers.

You can do this. I believe in you but more than that I believe in a God of truth and a God of justice. The only question is do you?

The Devil’s Greatest Trick Part One

The Devil’s Greatest Trick.

I was going to start my series on the seven deadly sins, starting with sloth. I just never got around to it. Don’t worry I will blog about my worst sin, but I had to get this out first.

I made this webpage to vent about and expose the false church. The church whose chief anointed one in our president Donald Trump. The man according to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Robert Jeffress, and the My Pillow Guy was anointed by God to protect America, Israel, and most important American Christians. The near worship of him is so much that survivors of the Tornados in Alabama asked him to sign their Bibles.

Now famous people sign things that they have something to do with. Anton Yelich might sign a baseball, Matthew Broderick might sign a playbill, Weird Al Yankovic might sign a tour shirt.

All three of my examples signed things that they were associated with. Donald Trump is not Jesus or Moses. He is not even mentioned in the Bible by name.

This gets to the title of this blog. The Greatest Trick the Devil Ever pulled. The famous saying made most famous by Kevin Spacey in “The Usual Suspects” goes like this “the greatest Trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he never existed”. I don’t believe that is his greatest trick. It is an important one in his arsenal. But not his biggest.

His biggest trick is convincing people who consider themselves to be followers of God to sin and do awful things in God’s name. This should be a very hard trick for Satan to do because the Bible is very clear about what a Christian looks like. Matthew 5-7 and Galatians 5 are two great examples of what Christians look like. But time and time again Satan has pulled this trick.

One of the first major times Satan did this is in scripture. Many people say that Jesus died for our sins, while I believe that is true. Ask the question “Why was Jesus killed?” And the answer is because Jewish religious leaders believed that they were protecting themselves and the Jewish Nation by killing Jesus. They also believed that Jesus was a blasphemer and was put to death for that.

That is the sad thing. Their savior was in front of them yet they couldn’t see it due to their own individual and national pride, their love of power, and self righteousness. Satan thought he was having the last laugh by getting these Pharisees to kill the Son Of Man. But Satan while cunning is not that smart and could not see the big picture. Jesus’ death and resurrection helped start a revolution of the heart, soul, and body that is still going on today.

Can you imagine how angry this made the Devil? His greatest triumph turned into his greatest defeat. He must have been furious. So he threw the entire Roman Empire at the early Christians martyring thousands. Yet that didn’t kill this new way of love, wisdom, and community of transformed souls. So Satan learned that he couldn’t destroy the church from without. So in my opinion, he decided to destroy it from within. Since Constantine saw the cross in the sky and Christianity became the state religion the false church ebbed and flowed.

It rose up during the crusades, the inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, racial based chattel slavery by “Christians” who said that it was ok to enslave “a people that God made inferior” when Paul said in Christ there is no Jew, no Greek. We are all the same in Christ. That is what is so awesome about this new Kingdom. The old rules of racial superiority, colonialism, violence, pride, and greed became obsolete with Jesus Christ and the transformation that He can gives us if we accept Him.

Satan doesn’t want us to love each other. He wants us to hate each other. He wants us greedy. He wants us prideful. He wants massive income inequality because he knows that he gets the sinners who exploit the poor and he can get the poor to rise up in violence against their oppressors and Satan gets them as well. Look at how the Bolschevicks overthrew the brutal and greedy Russian orthodox Christian Tsars only to become as brutal as they were. The Red Terror in France was the same way. Violence begets violence. Hate begets hate. It never ends and that is just the way Satan likes it.

Again this false church had periods of prominence. The medieval Roman Catholic Church, the brutal colonizing “Christians” who colonized the New World, Africa, India and other places all in the name of Christianity all the while explotating and killing the natives. This False church laid low for most of the 19th and 20th century. It never had the power that the Pre-reformation Roman Catholic Church did until 1980.

I will discuss the rise of the most compromised and powerful “Christian” church since the 16th century in the next Blog. The Devil is still tricking and people are still falling for it.

This Christmas Let’s Give to Franklin Graham With One Condition

The Christmas season is the season for giving. Numerous charities that you have donated in the past send letters asking you to donate again. There are many worthy organizations out there. For example I donated to the Fairhaven School. A school in Alexandria Egypt that provides an education to students with development disabilities that my church has ties with.

So I know money is limited. But what I am asking you is to donate to a cause that is very near to my heart. As I write in my blogs, I do consider the religious right and their deal with Trump akin to a pact with the devil. Trump is everything that Jesus Christ is not and supporting him is blaspheming the name of God in the eyes of non believers.

I don’t believe that all the religious right are lost permanently. I believe some have just lost their way and gently need to be brought back to the light. Franklin Graham couldn’t be all lost, he does great work with Samaritans’ Purse. I believe that fear and anger have lead him astray and I believe that we can help bring him back into the path of Righteousness. Imagine if Franklin Graham spoke up against or withdrew his support from Donald Trump. The man who Time and Newsmax named the most influential evangelical leader in world. If he would speak out it would be a miracle that would go a long way.

That is why we have to be cunning as serpents and as innocent as doves. I suggest that we donate money to the Billy Graham Foundation on condition that their leader rebuke or withdrawal their support for Trump. And if he does not do so, we will demand a full return of our donation.

I tried this once before in June of 2017, I wrote two checks. One for $50 and one for $19.26. These numbers mean a lot to me. The first one was for $50 because of Galatians 5. The second one was $19.26 because of verses 19-26.

https://2timothytrump.blog/2017/07/11/franklin-graham-take-this-69-26-and-start-a-third-great-awakening/

The Billy Graham Foundation cashed the check and Graham continued to support Trump so I asked and got my money back. Imagine if they received 100 letters like that. Letters with checks inclosed with different amounts and a letter urging him or others to rebuke or withdrawal support from Trump using scripture. In my wildest dreams it would be like the court scene in Miracle on 34th Street. Bags of letters coming to The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at 1 Billy Graham Parkway in Charlotte, NC 28201 urging him to do so to do so.

I am a true evangelical Christian. I believe that God works in the world and He works through the Holy Spirit and we as followers of Him must do what we must to help His kingdom.

These are just a few possible amounts

1. You could write a check for $60 and one for $15.19 and write using Proverbs 6 about what God hates and how Trump’s behavior and actions go against everything that God Loves

2. A check for $23 and one for $19 for 2 Timothy 3 1-9 another scripture that talks about false religion

3. A check for $117.19 for Jeremiah 1 17-19 and urge Franklin Graham to gird up his loins and do right by God.

There are many scriptures that speak against wickedness and for justice so we can be creative here.

The best that could happen is that these checks and letters help change the hearts and minds of religious right leaders and their flock, the worst that could happen is you call for a refund and in the month of January their coffers have a huge deficit in them.

Again send your letters and checks to

“An American Noel”: If Jesus came today, my 2nd favorite Christmas Song.

“An American Noel”: If Jesus came today, my 2nd favorite Christmas Song

My 2nd favorite Christmas song is a folk song by David Carter and Tracy Grammer. This little known song is beautiful in it’s simplicity. It poses a “What if?” What if Jesus was born today?

four in the mornin at the trade winds motel

the register reads all full up and the clerk thinks, just as well

but out in the tool shed by an old coleman lamp

a little family makes its meager camp

The ancient Hebrews believed that the Messiah would be born in a regal family. They didn’t suspect that He was going to be born of a lower middle class working family from Nazareth of all places.

In John 1: 46 Nathaniel asks “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” It would be if the Messiah was born in downtown Detroit or in the Appalachians .

Jesus came to save us all, but he also came to speak up for the oppressed and the poor.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

because he has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners

and recovery of sight for the blind,

to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[f]

When Jesus said this in a synagogue in Nazareth, his hometown, people knew that He was declaring that He was the Messiah. The wealthy and the powerful feared and despised Him. They plotted to kill Him and they did.

I believe that Jesus will return in all of His Glory. I believe that the wicked will be punished, the mourning will smile. The hungry will be fed. But if God decided to try it again, to come to the world in the flesh, he would be called a Marxist. He would be ridiculed on Fox News. Franklin Graham and other religious right leaders would want nothing to do with him. Trump would call Him a loser and his so called Christian supporters would agree.

Things haven’t changed much between 30 AD and now. Technology has advanced. We like to think of ourselves as more civilized but really deep down we are still the same greedy, prideful, sinful people we always were. And there are still the poor and the oppressed who are mocked. There are politicians who rig the system to benefit the wealthy. Just look at the tax monstrosity that Franklin Graham was silent about.

But there are also true believers, those who love God and serve Him and wait on baited breath for Him to return. They are wandering souls who live in the world but don’t really belong. Jesus gave hope to them when He walked the earth. He gives them hope today. I have a wandering soul and Jesus gives me hope and joy . I pray that He returns and returns soon.

and there comes a savior

and a preacher in the park

and he camps with the homeless

where they shiver in the dark

he delivers salvation

to the weary and the cold

and he brings joy, joy, joy to the wanderin soul

he brings joy, joy, joy to the wanderin soul

Who are you calling a Grinch: My 7th favorite Christmas somg

Everyone has seen Dr. Seuss’s “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” It is a holiday TV staple. Every Friday after Thanksgiving I go over to my best friend Dok’s house and help him and his wife, Lucy, clean and then we watch “The Grinch.” The animation is beautiful, the Seussian rhyming is at it’s best, with Boris Karloff narrating and Thul Ravenscroft singing “You’re A Mean One, Mister Grinch.” For years I thought Boris Karloff was doing the singing. I didn’t realize it was Ravenscroft until after he died.

This song plays while the Grinch in all of his grinchiness steals Christmas from the poor Whos down in Whoviille. The descriptors are excellent.

He’s called a bad banana with a greasy black peel, a nasty wasty skunk, the king of sinful sots, a crooked jerky jockey, and my all time favorite insult:

You’re a three-decker sauerkraut
And toadstool sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

You can’t come up with a better insult than that. The thing is we use “Grinch” as an insult, just like we do “Scrooge”. But like “The Christmas Carol”, “The Grinch” is a redemptive tale. The Grinch was a heartless angry loner who saw joy and hated it. He was a creature who mistreated poor Max something awful. I always felt sorry for that dog. But after doing one of the most heinous things, stealing Christmas and lying to Little Cindy Lou Who he then sees the love of the Whos down in Whoville, singing even without ribbons and tags but just for the love of Christmas and the love of each other. He was changed him and his heart grew three sizes.

But when we think of a Grinch, we don’t think about the smiling redemptive character that cuts the roast beast at the end of the show. We think of the bitter vindictive creature. Why is that? He was the Grinch before and He was the Grinch after just with a larger heart.

So I think the time of using it as an insult should end. There is a parody of this song “Your A Mean One, Mr. Trump”on YouTube. I won’t post because it uses foul language.

Speaking of Trump, his tax bill is very Grinchy and many of the words used to describe the Grinch could be used to describe Trump. I am praying that he will have a redemptive journey and that his ego will shrink two sizes and his heart with grow three sizes.

It is unlikely. But I am a Christian and I believe in miracles.

A Politically Incorrect Yet Decent Christmas Song: My 8th top Christmas Song.

My pick for my eighth favorite Christmas song is a funny little ditty written and sung by Wisconsin’s own alt folk Rocker Mary Karlzen. It makes fun in a very nice and decent way how atheists sometimes go overboard when it comes to Christmas.

It starts with:

It’s that Holiday time of year again. I guess I can’t say Christmas. Someone might get off of their butt and I want to be politically correct.

Political correctness really started taking off in the 1990s. It went away for a while and came back with a vengeance over the last 10 years. It is the idea that we can’t say or do certain things because we might offend people. A college student dressed up as a sexy Indian for Halloween and she is verbally attacked. Or should I say Native American? We have safe spaces in universities where people are protected from any language that might be offensive to them. Bill Maher’s invitation to Berkeley is denied because he said some “politically incorrect” things about Muslims. I think he says some “politically incorrect” and offensive things about Christians. But he has a right to say them.

Some are offended when people say, “Merry Christmas”, or if there is a Christmas tree in the State Capital. You don’t shut speech down by trying to force people to be politically correct. You put your own symbols up.

It’s the Holiday time of year again and the Nativity scene is looking sad. We didn’t want to piss off the neighbors or make anybody mad. So we stuck a Bret Favre bubblehead where the baby Jesus should lay and remember when we could say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.

But while the PC thought police can go too far, and I do believe that they have pushed too far, Trumpism is a backlash to that. There is such a thing as decency. And Trump has crossed that Rubicon from politically incorrect to indecent long ago.

Talking about women as sex objects is not being politically incorrect, it is being sexist and crude. Saying that most of illegal immigrants are rapists is not politically incorrect, it is a slur and racist.

Yes, most of the deadliest terrorist attacks in the world were committed by Muslims. There is Islamic terrorism and to deny that is to be politically correct but to say that most Muslims want to kill us is not politically incorrect but flat out wrong. I know I am going deep in this blog but I am sick of offensive hateful speech being called politically incorrect when it is racist, sexist, xenophobic, and not funny at all.

But what is funny are these lyrics:

It’s Holiday Time of year again and the kids are out caroling. But we didn’t want the atheists on the block to sue us over what they sing. So it’s Joy do the World Ain’t Dogs Fun and We Wish You A Merry Krispy Kreme. And remember back when you could say Merry Christmas not Happy Holidays

I do believe that sometimes atheists go to far. Sometimes it seems that Bill Maher and Franklin Graham feed off off of each other. They both show the same disrespect and borderline hate to the other side.

If you don’t like a nativity scene, add a menorah or a free thinker’s plaque. I believe that the answer isn’t less speech, it is more. And while I wouldn’t say there is a war on Christmas, I do believe that some atheists would love it if Christians would just go away.

I view the public square as a table. Fundamentalists want to control and own the table. Atheists want to kick all Christian away from the table while many Christians like me, just want a place at the table to speak, to share our faith when appropriate, and to listen, and to be me. And my faith is an important part of me.

Operation Today is the Day: Let’s Help Bring Rev. Franklin Graham Back to the Light.

Atheists believe that he is a perfect example of hypocritical Christianity. Many Christians I know believe that he is a lost soul who sold out his principals for politics, that he is too far gone to be saved.

I do not agree. I do believe that he has lost his way. He has let loss of Christianity’s political power, anger at the rising tide of secularism, and fear cloud his judgement. He has been seduced by a wicked man and wicked politics. He has gotten in bed with a man who represents everything that Christ stood against. Instead of celebrating humility, he honors a man who symbolizes pride.

He speaks up about a public school coach who was barred from praying before a game yet he is silent about the fact that our politicians are corrupt and are about to pass a tax bill that rewards the wealthy and hurts the poor. One that politicians like Lindsey Graham (no relation) admitted that if he didn’t pass, his donors would be angry with him. Rev. Graham should speak out for the former, the coach, but not forget about the latter.

We live in a nation where our rulers are rebels and thieves always chasing after gifts and looking after bribes and Franklin Graham doesn’t say a thing. He supported Trump because he hated Hillary Clinton and her policies on abortion among other things. But he traded a Jezebel for a Manasseh. He knows what type of man that Trump is yet he continues to support him after all of his tweets. The Billy Bush Access Hollywood Tape should have been a red line. After that Rev. Graham and his support for Trump basically said that Christianity stands for nothing.

But it is not to late. God gave him great gifts. He has just gone astray into apostasy. I have been trying to bring him back into the light for more than a year.

I made videos using his father’s book “Peace With God” as a guide 10 Rules For Franklin Graham.

I wrote e-mails.I called him. I tried to speak to him when he came to my state capital, Madison. All to no avail.

I even donated money to him asking him to speak up against Trump.https://2timothytrump.blog/2017/07/11/franklin-graham-take-this-69-26-and-start-a-third-great-awakening/

But I am just one man. I am nobody. One man is a crank, but hundreds of people is a movement, I ask you to join me. To call his office.

Or write him at Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

Maybe even donate money like I did, urging him to gird up his loins and stand up for Christ against Trump’s behavior and policies and if he doesn’t, demand a refund.

But, we do this out of love. Yes we will shame him, show him scripture and where he is wrong but also scripture to show him how he could actually help the Kingdom of God.

No, I don’t believe he is lost for good, all he needs is a little push. And with the Holy Spirit and hundreds of Christians praying and reaching out to him, I believe that He can be brought back into the light.

I have created a Facebook group to help usher this in. Operation Today Is the Day: Let’s Save Franklin Graham
